The history of Saurus (aka Emyr) and women:-

Every single girl in the history of mankind already has a boyfriend so I will probably live a lonesome and unfulfilling life on the outside. Just kick back and take it on the chin I guess!

I am old married fart. I knew from the day I met her that I wanted to marry her.

The End.

here's a tip:

don't get into deep relationships with inanimate objects.
it really screws with your vagina.

that is all.

To summarise:
I always assume girls I like would prefer somebody better looking with a better personality, so I fail to get the courage to ask them out.

Any suggestions?

I used to be full of confidence but since my last relationship break-up confidence has greatly reduced as time has gone by still single. I'd say just ask them out and think about the consequences after (of course presuming you're asking someone you really like). Just think to yourself that there's nothing to lose if they say no, and if they do say no...they should be understanding about it. If they're not understanding about it, they probably weren't good enough to be with anyway :)

You shouldn't judge yourself like that. Don't point out what flaws you have that others seem to be better at; look at yourself in all of your awesomeness and just take a step back and gaaazzeee. Seriously, if you don't have confidence in your own individuality, you'll never become greater. I had the exact same problem for years, and I would literally stay stagnant in my personality pool, becoming depressed, negatively out-looking the future, blah blah blah. But you need to see that it is YOU who is thinking these thoughts, and it is you who filters your own thought process. YOU need to overcome this self-criticism that your mind creates for you and break free from these constraints. Realize you can be whatever the hell you want to be and that you also have skills and talents that no one could ever possibly take from you.

That's why I avoided dating in high school.

I haven't been in a serious relationship in 5 or 6 years. I've been dating a girl since the end of last year and she is amazing. I consider myself to be more of an adult than I was 6 years ago so I kind of consider this to be my first REAL relationship. I'm a lucky guy.

I was unfortunately in a relationship with the same girl all through highschool.. I learned absolutely nothing about myself and pretty much wasted all of those years when considering personal growth. I should have listened to my mom and dated around.

that's what i'm scared of.
as an update, in a week, it will have been 9 months with my current girlfriend.
however, i've only had two others, and only one of those do i consider even being remotely serious.

kinda scared i won't have explored other personalities (including my own) by the time i'm pretty much out of the dating game.

is it a matter of waiting, or a matter of deciding?
