Hmm I don't know how but I seem to have missed this one one because I should've mentioned track 17 (my files are just labeled as numbers 1-35). I don't have much to comment on this one really because it's pretty uneventful but those chords are unteresting in the least. Not a great track but a good one.Gevel wrote:Nova Scotia Robots has an almost similar eery feeling as Skimming Stones to me, so it feels hard to like one and not like the other.
noby, I'm just curious since you're the most vocal one here so far about your opinion, what do you think of side b audiotrack 02? Something about that one has always made it one of my most appreciated tracks on these tapes. That one and side b audiotrack 11, which I see you at least like that one.
Track b-11 or track 26 as I have it, well. I don't really like it. First problem for me are the drums. To me they just aren't fitting, and that's largely the case with a lot of these songs on the compilations. They were just experimenting, and while it's interesting to hear, most tracks just don't capture me. But to get back to the track itself, I can see where they were going with that melody but doesn't work for me. Not a bad song but not my taste really I guess.
Thanks to this thread I got around at least partially re-listening to these compilations and it made me realize these tracks aren't nearly as bad as I had remembered. I used to hate these to be honest but I think appreciate them now a bit more
