Quite a coincidence but I talked to Guido last week about the redesign and we're also interested in doing this. And I'm pretty much in the same situation as CoBoC.
I have a background in webdesign and work mostly with Photoshop, HTML and CSS. Guido is skilled in PHP so with the both of us, we can be of some help. Plus Guido lives a 10 minute walk from where I live so it is easy to work together.

Maybe we can collaborate with CoBoC or assist him in some way. Let me know what you guys thinks.

Hey mrhat89, great to see another designer jumping in!

Don't worry about what CoBoC is about to do. phpBB3 gives the user the opportunity to choose the template they like.
In the past there have been more parties who offered their help but they all stranded in the end. It would be great to have the members to choose which they like the most. Another advantage is that if 1 designer strands there still is another option left.

Although there aren't much PHP programming skills needed it is good to have some knowledge. You guys seem to have all it takes to create something.

mrhat89, PM sent!

It would be nice if we kept some of the assets from this design. Twoism hasn't had a graphical update in all these years, and carries a nostalgic power for me.

WELL. It turns out I am quite suddenly employed. Between that and my other project, this is probably not gonna happen. So count me out, I guess!

But I'm so happy! Been out of work for a year and a half!

Congrats CoBoC, that's great!

You don't have to be unemployed to create a template ;)

Any news on the upgrade that I'm beginning to believe is never going to happen? :D

(No pressure - I'm just wondering, being a confirmed nerd and all...)

At the moment there are 2 templates in the making. No eta about the migration yet because the new forum need to be tested fully.

Is there still anyone out there who wants to create(or try to) a template for phpBB3? l bid you welcome! With phpBB3 the members have the opportunity to choose their own template.

phpbb2 actually gives users this option as well. profile>board style.

I have no complaints about this forums current format except for the search engine. If it aint broke...
