Hi guys..... rest assured its going into a good home and collection I came to a deal with the guy selling it lovely chap actually and he was also a collector, he wanted either cash or my Geogaddi unopened and kaleidoscope, so I just offered cash lets just say I got it considerably cheaper than people have discussed I wont go into exact figure but its less than 1000 GBP, fully insured etc and express postage with FED EX should be here within a week so ill put photos up etc when it arrives

So what was the deal with him claiming to be the same original seller in NYC?

What's the story behind it otherwise?
Cant really go into the reason he was selling but I can say he was a genuine seller, not sure on the "Pretending to be the original buyer" stuff as he actually aporoached me about the sale so we had correspondence over messages etc.... But all was fine and im happy with the deal, not sure if this guy has lost money or not as I dobt think its fair to ask tbh, I'll get some photos up once it arrives

I was thinking the same thing. Did this guy buy it for $5,700 then decide that trading it for a Geogaddi LP and kaleidoscope was a fair deal? Both of which are infinitely less rare. Strange.thepastinsidepressant wrote:i'd have parted with the Geogaddi and kaleido mate, both less than £300 value.
surprised they gave you that option actually.
hmm thats quite a massive loss on their part, 1000s actually. very odd

Odd considering it was at almost 900 before it was pulled.60-10 wrote:Less than a 1000 actually dude just not giving out exact amount for certain reasons but ill say this it was a few hundred less
As for not wanting to ask questions of the seller, well I admire your trust, especially if you decided to deal privately without ebay protection, on a very strange ever changing, inaccurate listing
Congrats, all the same, but to be honest, I'm not really buying any of this.

Look guys im not spouting BS here if you read I said 1000 GBP not dollars 700 GBP would relate to over $1000 for example.... The listing was over $900 at the time, my Geogaddi was bought from Japan and came shrink wrapped official or not what ever and my Kaleidoscope is mint but he wanted both plus CASH ontop so not just the 2 items..... Im in the UK records shipping from US so give me a week for delivery I'll post a photo up of me with the record and some paper with my forum handle 60-10 on.... This was paid for via goods and services so iam insured just to let you know.

It wasn't that I didn't believe you. I am just really confused about the seller and the weird scenario in which he has paid a fortune for something and then instantly sold it on at a huge loss.60-10 wrote:Look guys im not spouting BS here if you read I said 1000 GBP not dollars 700 GBP would relate to over $1000 for example....
