If you rightly believe that the person payed 5.7k for that vinly then resold it for a gorilla then you are bonkers.
I can only guess, but I'd say the auction was shill bid as expected and the seller sold it to that guy for as much as he thought he could get for it who then sold it on for a gorilla, and a gorilla (or a touch under) is no small sum for a vinyl with no music on it. That being said I would pay that right now, I have the cash in my hand literally (for a rental deposit, but that can wait)...

Well considering that sealed Geogaddi just sold for £185, and there are thousands of those in existence, compared with paying £700-£800 for this piece of mega rare collector's wet dream recrod, I'd say he has done very well. Granted, it doesn't have much music on it, but it's a piece of electronic music history.
Who knows what happened with the original auction though, maybe you're right.

I know the facts behind the original sale and the guy HAD to sell it really as he knew he'd made a mistake spending that amount of money etc and he has lost out but not significantly.... The guy was also a collector as he asked if I would trade some of my collection plus cash for the 12" haha.
I hope not Do5-BaG but it's good that some are, otherwise being a Nigerian/Ghanaian scammer (more common than you think) would be more lucrative than it is already...

It's something I'll never sell so price wise I'm happy with the deal, still think the sealed Geogaddi going for £185 is crazy, I paid £200 for a sealed one and kaleidoscope together

Haha I only sat it out on my Stantons for photos due to my Lamp etc, so it's in safe hands do not fret Their is a video somewhere on youtube of it playing at my friends house on his Marantz
