hmm i dunno, unless you know the area well. you mean the hills on left and right of the album cover itself are mirrored? what about the foreground, the building and pylon? well that would be hard to see from a distance but if you're just talking about the hills... theres many hills :/purgruv wrote:No? the only similarities i can see is the left side, the angle is similar but again many hills have slopes!

Just a thought. The front cover could be dawn as the light is colder. The back cover is obviously the warmer sunset and the cd disc is a hot yellow for a midday sun. So its three suns in one as echoed in the end sequence of the RFTD. Each suggest some sort of alignment.

I recently read Ray Bradbury's "Fahrenheit 451", and immediately thought of the TH cover when I read this:
SPOILERS AHOY!
"Montag crushed himself down, squeezing himself small, eyes tight. He blinked once. And in that instant saw the city, instead of the bombs, in the air. They had displaced each other.
For another of those impossible instants the city stood, rebuilt and unrecognizable, taller than it had ever hoped or strived to be, taller than man had built it, erected at last in gouts of shattered concrete and sparkles of torn metal into a mural hung like a reversed avalanche, a million colours, a million oddities, a door where a window should be, a top for a bottom, a side for a back, and then the city rolled over and fell down dead."
This line was interesting as well: "Perhaps, who would ever know? Perhaps the great broadcasting stations with their beams of colour and light and talk and chatter went first into oblivion."
