im pretty sure Japan does theirs backwards (because they read right to left) and every other country uses DD/MM/YY because most people left to rightportiss wrote:Yep, we do.TOYOTAセ wrote:Europe has it too? Huh, never knew that.pianoforte wrote: and Europe, and a number of other places.

Hahah too right. I think about the only thing we do that makes more sense than the UK at least is driving on the right side of the road.. otherwise the dates and spellings make a hell of a lot more sense to me.seanandcandy wrote:whereas in America they just read whatever they want in whichever order most pleases them

It's from the Tomorrow's Harvest inner sleeve artwork. There is a picture on upside down "822". I guess some fans on here think there is going to be an additional release or an announcement on 8/22 this month.northernlite wrote:im still lost, what is the significance of this number?

Note that 257 is the catalog number of Tomorrow's Harvest. Also August 22, 1996 was the date the Hare computer virus activated that deletes your hard drive.

We most certainly do not. We just date the dates as we write them out longform, i.e. "August 21st (or rather 22nd for you), 2013". Do other countries tend to write it out as "The 21st of August, 2013"? That seems excessively long.seanandcandy wrote:im pretty sure Japan does theirs backwards (because they read right to left) and every other country uses DD/MM/YY because most people left to rightportiss wrote:Yep, we do.TOYOTAセ wrote: Europe has it too? Or is it universally stated "August 21st" or the reverse of that for countries like Japan? If so, why would you then put the day first when doing the numbers?
Okay...now...wait for fog machine.
