fredd-e and moebius have done a tremendous amount of work on the wiki section of narfum; i've added a bit tonight, navbars and infoboxes and stuff...
errm i guess this post is a recruitment drive. i'm fairly sure that a lot of posters here have a fairly in-depth knowledge of the releases. have a look at http://fredd-e.narfum.org/wiki/Template:Nav-Releases - all the red links are articles that need writing. have a look at catalog 3... the infobox needs filling in.
wikis are great cos anyone can edit them. so get stuck in adding that stuf
Are you requesting info SOLELY on the items in red or can we add to any of the pages? I only ask because I thought about adding some material about Geogaddi references and such... I know they are freely editable, but as this project is not my brain child, I thought I'd ask.
And the English major inside me wants to tweak the IBPOITC description a bit.

Feel free to edit any page you like; that's why we have this wiki!
PS: if you see some bad English, feel free to rewrite it into proper English
And you've done a great job so far!
Thanks!
No problem. I think I want to try maybe Twoism or something small next. Geogaddi will be a beast of an article if it is done well. (But it will need pictures for sure!)
EVERYBODY ON THIS FORUM (even if you're not actively editing stuff) should check these pages and see if they have anything to contribute. I know a lot about BoC, but I know that you guys know things that I've never heard of or forgotten, so plz bring them up on the forum (or edit them directly) and we'll try to get these pages to be as comprehensive as possible.
Glad to have you aboard, disavowed. Looks good. I noticed though you didn't use wikilinks to other pages, just full URLs. You can link directly to another page on the wiki by just doing [[page name]], it's easier and it makes it possible to track the connections between pages.
Also you can make a interwiki link to a Wikipedia article like this: [[wikipedia:Boards of Canada|]]
Wikipedia has a good tutorial if you're not highly familiar with editting wikis, it's pretty generally and most of it applies to the BoC wiki as well.
Yeah, if you guys see technical problems with what I'm doing be sure and let me know. I'm learning as I go. Never done this before. But, it's been kind of fun.

I just fixed those to interwiki links, quite the coincedence.. I only did it on the IABPOITC page...
Like what I said before, I would like it if there wasnt tons of spam on the pages and people deleting stuff.
I would like it if you have to sign up or something to post and you have to type in one of those picture codes to prevent spambots... Or just have certain people posting... or have someone approve of the post/edit before it is on the website.

LOL
Welcome to last year?
This is a brand new wiki installation since a couple of weeks.
It's spam-free; you need to register before you can edit posts. It got spamfilter extensions enabled.
a song infobox template added and a people navbar added. if anyone can contribute anything to the bios, it's appreciated innit. i can make it nice later; if you have verifiable information, add it!
