80's Style: Pete Standing Alone
Hey guys, I'm excited to get some feedback on this song I'm making. It's, as the title suggests, Pete Standing Alone done with 80's synth patches. Give it a listen and please tell me what to do so this ends up being a great remix.
Please note, this is no where near completion. I still have a ton of work to do on it.
Here's what I have so far:

EDIT: Is this in the right thread?

I think this thread was made for it!747Music wrote: EDIT: Is this in the right thread?
Digging the track, & think that now you've started, you must recreate the whole album in an '80s style.

That song is totally bad man! (In the 80s sense of the word)747Music wrote:Hey guys, I'm excited to get some feedback on this song I'm making. Saw a blind man walking down the street
Greets every person he chanced to meet
Saw a cop write a ticket to a man over fifty
Fell over laughing screaming he was a hippie
Ran into a granny had a smile on her face
Broke a trophy she just won in a race
Don't worry about the future
Forget about the past
Whether it's good or bad
It's a gas
Greets every person he chanced to meet
Saw a cop write a ticket to a man over fifty
Fell over laughing screaming he was a hippie
Ran into a granny had a smile on her face
Broke a trophy she just won in a race
Don't worry about the future

thanks for your interest twoism
I've worked a bit more on this song. Give it another listen. It's saved over the previous song so you can find it at the same link in the OP.
I've added a simple bass line. Made the punchy line more bass-y and added reverb. I also changed the synth patch for a part.
The layout is the same as before and does not represent a finished layout.
Have another listen and see what you think. It's getting closer to being finished.
