Do what better?

I'm listening to vol. 1 now and it's beautiful. It deserves a proper review, which maybe I'll do once I've given it enough listens and after I've heard the full album.

hi, so i was searching the net for an old article about my music i wanted to reference in a press release i have coming up and came across this thread... i am the musician mobdividual who did some guitar on this album. Im not going to demystify everything cos The Producer kept me in the dark about much of it also (had no idea there was a 12" for example), but y'all figured out much of it.

I can explain my part and some of the background process

its kind of a long round about story as to how i met The Producer but we kept in touch over several years (as far back as 2005, '06 i probably met them). at some point i was involved in two different collaborative projects (probably around 2016, '17) where i sent some guitar stems to friends and they did whatever they wanted with them. The Producer found out and asked that i send them some and explained to me that they wanted to do one last music project before they quit forever. They had been experimenting with some computer synths and various plugins (after a lifetime of creating all analogue music and some pretty rocking stuff i might add) - well the synths weren't working out, so they wrote a score and hired some string musicians off fivrr and blended whatever i had sent to them - no idea what The Producer ended up using, i sent probably 20mins of recordings. much of the background texture on the track im on is a blend of what i sent, but there's some editing too - i actually think The Producer time stretched an acoustic track that i recorded onto my phone.

i had forgotten about it until i got a few royalties off spotify a couple of years ago

as far as i know The Producer moved to Europe, got married and quit music forever right when this was completed.

anyway, fun read seeing you all figure this out!

Interesting. Thanks for sharing. Hopefully, "The Producer" hasn't quit making music forever, forever.
