What films give you that BOC feeling?

The Wicker Man is Awsome.

Yea, The Andromeda Strain, nice one. I remember the atmosphere freaking me out and not being sure if it was all intentional or not. Will have to watch it again.

I just remembered- Nic Roeg’s The Man Who Fell To Earth.

I guess it goes without saying that the old ‘National Film Boards of Canada’ films would be the BOCist visuals but I haven’t seen any.

Bizarrely Geogaddi reminds me of this old Canadian (I think) childrens show ‘Ramonna’ that was on when I was a kid. fuk knows why, might as well be Spiceworld.

The American "David the Gnome" series. Only like 18 episodes, but sometimes when I listen to BoC it makes me think of that show. Loved it when I was a kid.

Ace '70s children's TV series "The Changes". It's full of themes of nature reclaiming the country, a fear of electricity (pylons especially) and a return to a pre-industrial age. Scared the shit out of me as a kid.

I only saw The Andromeda Strain once, back when I was 6 or 7 years old. All I saw was a scene where there was a dead lady draped over the front of a car... and I remember it FREAKING ME OUT! There was something really disturbing about the way it looked, and if I recall correctly, the music (or perhaps it was some sound effect) during that scene really added to the creepiness. I should really watch the whole thing one of these days.
