The original intention, as you can see from the first couple of pages, was for a civilised and a more discussion based thread. Unfortunately, the majority of what I thought would have been more involving, these most recent pages have become completely half-assed, with silly youtube links from Arvy's spam accounts, and bickering.

If by civilised discussion you mean more pro western bbc propaganda farts, then don't cry if you got put in a gas chamber first

Don't misconstrue my statement as support for Russia. They're in the wrong here by every quantifiable measure. I just don't care to put the wants and needs of other people first when my own country and people are rotting from the inside. From education to infrastructure, my country and my people, regardless of race, culture, or creed, comes first.

I take it we’re still pretending that 2014 happened spontaneously, without any external guidance or encouragement. After that, Ukraine was, quite helpfully, supplied with enough weaponry to continue fighting Russia until the last Ukrainian standing.
Of course, we shouldn’t “play dumb” about any of this. That would be awkward.

Still, it’s reassuring that there remains just enough restraint not to push the situation into an even wider catastrophe. For that, some appreciation toward President Donald Trump might be in order.

And as for the moral instruction about “right and wrong,” it’s difficult not to admire the confidence with which it’s delivered by a country whose global footprint has, for decades, been written largely in blood.
