A car breaking hard / tire screeching at 1:32-ish, and then the sound of an impact beginning at ~1:41.

As this one is gradually stripped down to just the beats and the beats get more robotic, it gave me the feeling of watching the light of a ghost's body partially dissolving and revealing a mechanical skeleton underneath. Very cool track, love the nod to Autechre.

Very fitting given that BOC's early breakout into releasing things publicly began on the Autechre label, SKAM. The nods and the thank yous and the tributes really reinforce in me the feeling that this is it for new BOC music; they've completed what they set out to do with this one!

Aye, so very glad to hear them getting Old Tunesy on this one! This is a bit like if Statue Of Liberty had been on Campfire, I think I even heard them intentionally making it sound like a crappy limewire mp3 at a few points lmfao. Also the washed out guitars remind me of Yo La Tengo which is always a plus. Fucking gorgeous track, wish there was a bit more of it but they can't all be 5 minutes I suppose lmao

This is the track on the album that's lingered in my mind the most surprisingly. I loved it very much when I first heard it, but I didn't expect it to just spontaneously start playing in my head over and over. Then I realized it was mixing with Statue of Liberty in my head. Such a delight the way this one is sticking with me, almost overwhelming and eerie but gorgeous. This album is doing some real magic.

Could be. I've noticed the deeper sounds showing up way earlier in the track after more listens.

That is definitely a tyre screech and smash at 1m32s in this song. There's something going on with this whole car crash narrative, the photos of car wrecks on the album cover etc. I think this is more significant than we currently know.

Nice catch. This has been one of my favorite films since back in my collecting Criterion Collection titles phase c. 2000. It's such a beautiful film visually and musically despite being quasi-horror. The perfect use of the 2nd movement from Beethoven's Emperor Concerto still at the top.

I was revisiting Local58 and the music in this short sounded oddly familiar.

The title made me think about times when I was getting high to enjoy TH as much as I could.
And when I way lying in my bed I was thinking how will I perceive right "now now" someday in the future, as I am looking at my past myself getting high to enjoy TH, lying now sober since 1.5 year, enjoying Inferno. This "somewhere right now" will have certainly some space in my future memories, and my goal is to make that space warm.

On its own, I can understand how the track sounds unremarkable. But in the context of the album and how it follows up the first 5 tracks, it’s absolutely perfect. It might be the most well placed track in their entire discography. It’s a respite after what came before it, and it especially lands harder because those first 5 tracks were the first 5 new BoC tracks in nearly 1.5 DECADES.
