I believe this is the version from the Peel Session broadcast. There was thread about this but it's buried deep in the forum somewhere. Yes it is different from the standard version, most notably the ending. Interestingly enough, as noted in the aforementioned thread, there's a page somewhere on the BBC site that calls this track "Happy Cycling (as changed from Bad Day)."
Yeah i can confirm that. Here's the thread where it came up first time.

I was surprised at the time that it wasn't more of a big deal here on twoism. After all the version on the Peel Session EP is just the album version, and here the original broadcast version turned up and was quite a bit different. I thought it was quite a discovery. And of course posed the question why the MHTRTC version is on the EP and not this one. Were they unsatisfied with this version? Or was it just a cock up in mastering?

The version I've got is 6:51. It's the same file as posted on watmm. It doesn't sound too different to me either though.boardsofdublin wrote:7.56.audiotrack wrote:The CD version track length is 7:56
Does anyone have the track length of this version..?
i am not convinced!! its the same track, just went wrong when first played. Hence, why it was never played on air.
thats just my opinion.
