what is the meaning and the point of this word - twoism?
so do anyone have an idea of what does this word mean, or what is the point of this word, because it's obvious that it has something to do with number two. the ending -ism ussually means a dedication to something. so is this some kind of a dedication to number two?
it all probably sounds quite stupid, but i was just thinking.

hm yeah it makes sense, good version.Dragon wrote:Probably something to do with the duality of life

the reason why i got interested in this, is because whenever i think about the meaning of number two it looks like it's all around me: i used to be number two in our shchool class journal, now i'm number two in my college group journal, i've released an album on label called "two circles records", and now i've found this website related to one of my favourite albums called "twoism". it would have been crazy if one of my tracks was in "one on twoism vol.2". but on the other hand it's probably me who's following this number unconciously.

i'm pretty sure it has to do with love. just look at the cover of twoism and watch "the killings at outpost zeta".
if you have any doubts on this, just listen to the lyrics of sixtyniner. sometimes things dont have to be so mysterious when being part of BoC.
BTW, thanks for this thread. its made me listen to twoism for the first time in months ^_^

I think anything could be open to your own interpretation, but not everything is, ussually everything has an explanation. I agree that "twoism" may not be classified in category of anything, but i wanted to share my interpretations about it, and hear other opinions.harpoon dodger wrote:I think it's all open to your own interpretation. According to what you are saying, you don't actualy know what it means, it's just your own interpretation, otherwise you are a member of Boards of Canada, or close friend/relative to them.
