Plaid is not my faved band yet...i liked only Not for Threes.....but hope i will love this band as much as BoC.....no i'm not

Also this means they will be touring again soon :-D

I cant imagine the album will dissapoint even if there are a few iffy tunes, if there track record is anything to go by then theres sure to be a few treats in store... bring it!!

I have listened to the albums Not for threes, Double Figure and Rest proof clockwork and I must say Plaid is amazing. Love it.

Double figure was the first album of theirs that I listened to, its a class album hence a good starting point. But really its all marvelous far as PLAID is concerned, even the movie sound track albums "tekkon kinkreet" and "Heavans Door" are really good.

This could be good.

Plaid are a one of those bands that don't seem to have a middle ground for me... I either really, really like a song by them, or I really, really hate it. So this album could go either way for me.

Still, this is the first time in a few years that Warp Records are showing some semblance of relevance, in my opinion... so I'll take what I can get from them.

This is good news. The funny thing is that I just bought their Spokes album on vinyl (2-LPs) last weekend. Their music is very inspiring. The only thing that I don't like is their drum sounds, otherwise the rest is very well done.

If you mean their hang drum sounds, that's one of my favourite bits about them!

New track 'Missing' is available to folks who've pre-ordered the album. Very pretty tune. Wouldn't be out of place on one of their film soundtracks.

Still kinda hoping we get some more percussive stuff on the album as I most like Plaid when they get a groove going.

on the same page as warphead.... never really felt this band's music. I appreciate it though. they have the occasional track that I enjoy, but I'm tired of sifting through entire cds of theirs only to find one track that I like. respect though. I love the album artwork with the circular arrangement of block letters. I hope you all enjoy this album!
